I changed the IAC and the engine is still running like it is I checked the PVC valve and the little rubber connector and it's all perfect so I'm trying to find out what else could it be I took the main holes off of the mass flow sensor and it didn't change the speed of the engine idle

HI there

Take some carb cleaner and spray it around the intake manifold. If the idle speed increases then you have a vacuum leak. It's also possible there is an issue with one of the O2 sensors reading wrong. If it is, the computer may be adding fuel to compensate for the bad sensor.
