I have a VW 2005 Golf with a 2.0 engine. It appears to be an electrical clutch circuit on the torque converter. The VW transmission is sealed so low transmission oil is not likely to be the issue and if it is, well I may as well throw the car away.

Vehicle: 2005 Volkswagen Golf 4 door hatchback 2.0 engine
