What does it cost to get this code removed or fixed

2001 Lincoln Continental. Car runs great transmission changes smoothly but this code comes on and I would like to know what it cost to get it fixed

Depends on what exactly the problem is, but if you have to replace just the Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid (Code P1744), the repair is around $450. Also depending on where you the repair is performed, independent mechanic or dealer, and if there are no other damage parts.
