My wife has a 2000 Ford Focus ZTS 2.0L DOHC and a code P1780 keeps coming up. Where do I begin?

Thats a horrible answer im sure every knows that thanks mr obvious. Usually people on these sites cant afford to go to the shop or would rather do it themselves
