My gf’s car Ford Focus has got a light on on her dashboard. ABS and also the handbrake In the same time.
We had it diagnosed with a code B1342 saying the ECU has failed.
Is there any other way I can try to solve this as it only comes on sometimes.
I’d rather not spent any more € on the whole ECU.

THANKS FOR ANY HELP

HI there

The code is for a failed ECU, however since you have an ABS light on, it means there is a code stored in the abs module. Start with that code and repair it first, it could be causing this code to come up.
