My check engine light is on when I get the code read it reads P0101- so I replaced the MAF, 12 miles later check engine light comes back on this time reads P0101-MAF sensor Circuit range/performance:Low voltage & P0171-Fuel injection system too lean .... This time I get a replacement MAF, a new Air Filter, and a New Battery= The car maybe made it 30 miles before the check engine light came back on again, but is now only showing the P0101 code...I am just kind of lost on what the next step would be.

SYMPTOMS MY CAR IS EXPERIENCING:
Jerking while driving
Sudden idle surges
Sudden Engine Stalling
Hesitation When trying to accelerate-sometimes going into limp mode
Jerking/stalling when turning right
Sudden surges in speed on the highway
A Sudden drop in Fuel Economy
Engine dies after initial start up ignition (Sometimes)

Is there any way that this could be caused from a problem with the throttle body?
Would a Throttle body issue even cause a P0101 code to be thrown?
What is the next step that I should take?

Vehicle: 2011, Nissan, Sentra SR, 2.5L

HI there

First, make sure you use a dealer sensor. Any of the aftermarket sensors can cause this and do frequently.

Second, make sure you clear the old fuel trim. This isn't done when you clear the codes on these, it actually has to be reset to let the new maf and fuel trims take place.
