I have the code 1138 and my nissan sentra 05 doesnt want to start what could it be?

It's a nissan sentra 2005 usually it'll start in it's second try but I'd like to know why it doesn't start up right away. What would be the problem?

Unfortunately, there are many things that could cause that problem, e.g. bad gas, spark plugs, air filter, carbon built up in the engine. I suggest starting by performing a service (tune-up) change spark plugs and filter and use high octane gas for a couple of weeks.

The P1138, is for the Swirl control valve, the Swirl control valve could cause a hard start as well.
