I have the code U1001 on my 2011 Nissan Sentra 2.0L and won't start turning over but no start and also no spark

This code indicates an issue with the CAN communication lines. 

Even with this code, the car would still start, and sometimes there is no drivability, try this clean the negative battery cable ground and reconnect. you may just have to do the basic test such as test for fuel pressure, ignition spark.
