Why does my 2004 Mazda 6i 2.3 ltr 5 sp manual trans stutter after changing the purge valve

I replaced the old purge valve in my 2004 Mazda 6i 2.3 ltr 5 speed manual and ever since the car does nothing but stutter when i attempt to drive it in all 5 speeds.

Hi there,

Double check the new purge valve. If the vacuum lines are hooked up wrong, it could be holding it open, causing the engine to flood. This will make it run rough and you will still get the code for the purge valve. Here is some more info for you regarding these codes.
