Would timming being off cause cam sensor throw a code

I çhanged timing belt water pump tensioner idoler pulley and cam sensor truck runs good for about1-2 minutes then dies and throws code

Yes it will, when you do a timing belt , the timing belt comes with marks you have to use those marks and line it up to the timing marks on the engine or it set the code, Use the marks on the timing belt it will look off but its not
