It's a 1997 chevy 3500 with a 4L60E transmission. I replaced the transmission and prior to I had a code P0756 after replacing trans instantly the mil came on with P0758 so I'm sure it has something to do with the vehicle wiring etc and not the trans specifically considering completely different unit swapped out

P0756 is not set by a electrical problem but it is a mechanical problem within the transmission ,the condition to set a P0758 could of been cause by having a P0756 , P0758 is electrical you would have to check the fuse see if just by having a P0756 set a P0758. here a diagram help you find it, it fused protected hopefully its a fuse
