Error report shows code of P0335 and trying to locate specific issue.

Question

Car starts sporadically - I have to turn key several times before it will start. Does not appear to be solenoid. Would ignition issue report as error code P0335?

This code is for the crank position sensor. If the engine is turning and not starting this could cause that problem and it should be replaced. If the engine is not cranking at all, then that would usually indicate a possible problem with a low or weak battery or an issue with the starter motor itself.
