1996 3000GT VR-4, P0335 Crank sensor circuit. Replaced with new sensor, car runs for less than a minute then shuts off. Never to start again and P0335 reappears after several attempts to restart. Before starting the PCM reference voltage was 5.21v. After failure voltage reads 9.5v. disconnect sensor and connector reads 5.21v. Plug in the sensor and measure the sensor voltage and it's 9.5v.
Replaced the sensor with another new one with the same result. checked the continuity of the sensor wire to the PCM for interference - good. There is also a good ground circuit.
I now have two brand new sensors that went bad almost immediately. No sign of wear if they were making contact with the metal plate.
Really could use some help trying to figure out what's going on here please.
