replaced pcm now no speedomoder and fault code p0501

Question

got another pcm from this co. and p0501 popped up again and still no speedometer.2 pcms 2 p0501 codes ,Chrysler replaced shift solenoid and we replaced both speed sensors. to no avail could this just be a bad speedo.?

P0501 Vehicle speed sensor

The gear for the speed sensor is strip not on the sensor but in the transmission. these are plastic,
