Code on my 2014 Chevrolet Malibu Eco reads P16CF

Question

The code on my diagnostic reads p16cf what does this mean and how do I fix this problem when I put it on a battery diagnostic it came up that the alternator was bad and when I pulled the alternator off it looked like it was burning up I put a new alternator on and the code is still coming up what is this

P16CF Intake rocker arm solenoid valve 2 control circuit

This is the problem with the rocker arm solenoid valve control circuit , where the ECM control and gives it a ground command., This needs a scan tool communication, in order to make the proper diagnosis, majority of times this becomes the ECM.
