P0011 code on nissan maxima

Question

I have a 08 Nissan maxima the service engine light has been on even after I change my oil. I went to auto zone and they have me this code. What part do I have to buy exactly? And is it the left side or right that needs replaced?

Hi there,

This code points to an issue with the bank 1 intake valve timing control solenoid, or the wiring to it. This is on the firewall side of the engine or bank 1. Sometimes a faulty cam phase sensor that isn't reading can cause this code to appear as well.
