Car will start out in a higher gear when in \"D\" wont start in first... will take gears manually ... my error code is P0915 ....

This code is for the gear shift position sensor.

This can be the result of a faulty position sensor, the wiring to the sensor having a short or broken wire. Most common issue is the sensor itself.
