Keep getting P0038 code on my 2003 ram 1500 4.7l , replaced both up & down stream o2 sensors and same code comes up. When you run it at 4000 rpm or higher it starts "missing" really bad and the truck will just "shut" off after about 5 mins. When this happens you can turn the key off and then it will start back up.

This code is for the O2 sensors heater circuit. This won't affect the running issue you are having. It does indicate a possible issue with the wiring for the sensor since the new sensor isn't working properly. I would check all the ground wires on the engine going to the body and make sure none are broken. If the sensor was a direct fit, then you need to have a look at the wiring for the sensor. As for the running issue, this could be a bad ignition coil or low fuel pressure causing the issue. Here is some more info on the code for you
