Will P0500 code make engine sputter/misfire?

96 Nissan 2.4 5 speed. Engine light mysteriously went off but is still throwing code P0500, ever since light went off it has been idling rough an misfiring/sputtering during take off until it gets goin approximately 35-45 mph? Has new plugs, cap, button and fuel

This code is for the speed sensor and won't make it run bad. It can however have an affect on the transmission shifting points, which can make it feel like it's running poorly.
