I had my motor replaced 2 weeks ago today. It was a used motor as well. When I picked up up after the motor was put in I drove about 28 miles and the CEL came on, the code read at AutoZone as p0014. Took it back to the shop, my mechanic refused to do a diagnostic for the inspector from the warranty claim department, so with that the claim was denied and it was also stated that the CEL was not on during his inspection, but he did see the stored camshaft code. So I then had the mechanic recommendation and replace the VVT solenoid. Went back to pick it up and drove 0.3miles if that light right back on same code. Im going to put another claim in and take it to a different shop that will perform the diagnostic and try to get the motor replaced... Again. Does this sound like it falls under replacement warranty?

P0014 Camshaft position B Timing over advanced or system performance Bank 1

No this is not going to under warranty, the reason is this is electrical. , The proper diagnosis is to test it electrical condition . see if there is a command for the OCV on bank 1 which is the exhaust OCV . if it is receiving the proper voltage to regulate the oil pressure. maybe the terminal connection. Here why it is electrical you drove it 0.3 miles.. If you want to duplicate if P0014 will set after the code is cleared, you can just bring the RPM up at idle. if there is a deviation for 180 seconds the ECM set the code.
