Replaced my TPS on my 02 jeep liberty but still get codes p0121 and p0123 (TPS issue). Why would this keep happening?

Question

Automatic transmission,  new TPS is about 4 monts old.

Vehicle revs real high as if it's stuck in 2nd gear and won't go into third.  Eventually it will go into third gear and run "normal" but I can tell it still takes a while to switch into 3rd and 4th gears.  Once at speed, it runs ok.

Both codes are for the Thorttle Position Sensor (TPS). You probably have to replaced the sensor.
