Also sounds if though there is air leaking from brake booster where it goes thru firewall, could I have a vacuum issue

If you can hear air inside the truck, it does indicate a possible issue with the power brake booster. This will usually cause a rough idle when you are sitting at a light or braking. It may not be the cause of the problem when accelerating. Without knowing what sensor you replaced it's difficult to tell.

The fuel rail pressure sensor.  It had a P0191 code along with showing running too lean, forget that code
