the check engine light does not come on but car stalls

the car will not restart until code is cleared, it may take 1 mile or it may take 10 miles and then the engine will just stall and quit, code is p0101

Hi there

This code is for the mass air flow sensor. It's possible the problem is the sensor itself, in fact it likely is. I would start by cleaning the sensor, if that doesn't resolve the issue then replace it.
