Can I smog truck with engine light on with a PO327 code Knock sensor problem

Anytime the CK ENG LT is on the vehicle is in a emission violation. The whole purpose of the CK ENG LT is to protect the catalytic convertor and the catalytic convertor is to protect the environment from harmful emission.You will have to replace the Knock sensor, when you do replace the knock sensor you will see that it is water contaminated . clean out it housing install the knock sensor and on its cover apply silicone to seal from water entering its housing
