I got into a small wreck but enough to deploy driver knee airbag, and release gas into the seatbelt chamber to permanently block the seatbelt. I know that seatbelt will have to be replaced with a new one. I can't afford the airbag, but I want The seatbelt to function properly without replacing airbag.

HI there

The seat belt will work fine, but the airbag system will not function until the airbag is replaced. When the airbag light is on, it means the system is disabled.
