2010 Kia Optima 4 Cyl with engine light on and code P0453

Our temperature in AZ is 108 degrees. I drove for 20 miles then parked in sun. All the 20 miles the engine light was off. After we got done shopping (2 plus hours) I started auto and light came on and stays on. I checked code and it was PO 453. If I erase code will the light show up again if the problem still remains??

Yes, if you clear the code, the light will stay out until the computer runs another self test. If the problem still exists the light will come back on with the same code and then would have to be diagnosed.
