wont move in drive but does in 2nd and can switch to drive while moving and is fine but have to repeat process everytime you stop my question are these symptoms leading towards the torque converter or shifting solenoid or something else?

The code is for the torque converter being stuck off. It's possible it's low or dirty transmission fluid, but also possible it's caused by the torque converter solenoid or a mechanical issue. Here is some more info for you.
