P0622 Generator field not switching properly

No it is not, here why you can have the charging system checked, and it will be charging , drive around still no problem , then out of no where the system is not charging, There is a not a easy fix or a one solution area, The way to find is to have the charging system checked, if that fine the field of the charging system then has to be monitored , may to take up to 15 minutes , all the while wiggling wire of the charging system , if the field of the charging system turns off, the PCM is suspected
