How can I tell if I need the crankshaft position sensor or the camshaft position sensor or both?

I had a local mechanic run the codes for me because my check engine light is on and he said I need the oil control valve replaced but I went somewhere else and they said the camshaft solenoid? What should I do? I have a 2005 Kia Spectra EX

P0016 Crankshaft to camshaft position correlation
They are both correct, the name varies from manufactuer to manufactuer but it mean the same thing, This is called either CCV (continuous varable timing solenoid) to OCV (oil control valve ) to camshaft solenoid. You have a intake and a exhaust , it always adviseable to do both side the intake and the exhaust side.
