CAN A LOOSE AIR FILTER COVER CAUSE LDP-1494 CODE?

Question

check engine light code p1494 was displayed, On inspection
I noted a latch was un hooked on the air filter cover. the light is out now that I had the battery replaced yesterday, May 23, 2017

P1494 Leak detection pump or switch

Not really, what mostly set this code and goes misdiagnosed is when the vacuum hose to the leak detection pump gets kink or ruptured, just check the vacuum hose to it more than anything this is what happened
