I have a 2014 Chrysler 200 with the V6.  Just hit 100,000(lot of highway time).  Monthly oil changes, and all required maintenance has been done as scheduled.

I literally made an appointment to have the plugs replaced this week, and within hours I got the p0304 code.  I have not noticed any symptoms usually associated, or lack of power.  I replaced the coil and the plugs tonight.  My friend then reset the fault code, and whatever diagnostic machine he was using to reset the code showed everything was fine before we had even changed the plugs.  I have to drive for work and will likely have 600-800 miles before I can take it to a shop.  Is this something that will be safe to drive in the mean time?  Like I said, I have not noticed anything to even trigger the code.

I'm praying it isn't the head, but I would think that would definitely have some symptom associated with it, correct?  Just at a loss.  It idles smooth, I have taken care of this and will be beyond upset if the head is out.  Any advice is appreciated.

If the cylinder head was a problem it would be the number 3 cylinder which involves the intake valve and it is accompanied with a rough idle this is notorious with the 2.7 engines. Something simple has happened a injector plug may have gotten disconnected or your simple not really secured with the ignition coil , the locking tabs on the ingiton coil may have broken off or the locking tabs on the fuel injector if this is the case zip ties comes in handy. Sparkplugs these happen where it is dropped and the gap get closed or during the installation it cracked and sometimes it just is not torque properly. How far can you drive it ? The whole purpose of the CK ENG LT program is to protect the catalytic convertor and the catalytic protects the environment from harmful emission. Because the misfire is mild its not major like the cylinder head if it was or is a cylinder head you would have a rough idle and you would feel it. you have something simple.
