U1000 can it be caused bu a faulty battery

I had my transmission rebuilt a few weeks ago and have had to jump my quest mutipal times and now i have a u1000 code and an o2 sensor code pop up. Now my van wont start.

When you turn the key on does the CK ENG LT even turn on? If it does not check the ignition fuse,  Even with U1000 the engine would still start and even with a 02 sensor code. a CAN code can be set when the battery voltage is low.depending on how bad the battery is it may even prevent the engine from even from starting even with a jump start.
