I have a 2000 Toyota Tacoma with a engine code P1135. My truck has California emissions and I have two heated oxygen sensors. My truck has 305.000 miles on it so I replaced the entire exhaust system and both sensors. It was time to replace the timing belt so I did that using a timing belt kit. And I always replace the thermostat and all belts and hoses and all vacuum lines. considering the miles on my truck I replaced PCV valve and MAF sensors. One tip I have always keep and store old belts and hoses in my truck in case of a emergency. With all that I still have engine code P1135 I would greatly appreciate and suggestions or just plain HELP. Thank Bobby

HI there,

This code is for the heater circuit on the O2 sensor. I would first check the fuses under the hood for a blown O2 sensor fuse, then check the wiring harness. If the harness is good and the fuses are good, you may have a faulty computer. You should also use a scan tool to read the heater voltages. It's possible the sensor itself is bad
