During drive, check engine light will flash at times, but not stay on, and no permanent codes are set. There is a pending code of P0301. Have replaced spark plugs, switched coils from cylinder 1 to cylinder 4, no change still P0301 appears to be intermittent. Examined wires coming from PCM to coil 1, appear to be OK at connector. Since condition appears around 50 MPH at 50% throttle position, does not seem to be an intake air leak. Signal on bank 1 O2 sensor low, 0.25 compared to .50 on bank 2. Short and long term fuel trims at 0.0. Since condition is intermittent, seems to rule out plugged fuel injector. Therefore, appears problem could be due to a bad wire going to coil or fuel injector or problem with PCM. Any ideas?

This is going to be the PCM, at 50 mph the egr would be open any vacuum leak is not going to affect the engine only a non spark condition at the cylinder 1, you can get another PCM and you would notice they are not available. your best resolve is to send the PCM for a rebuild.
