the ford 150 4x4 is misfiring

the truck is misfiring and it just dies when it is put into drive but when put into 1st it slowly
sputters

This could actually mean it needs a simple tune up. A new set of spark plugs and possibly a coil or two. If the check engine light is on, then it's possible it would give you the specific cylinders the engine is misfiring on.
