On my 2002 Chrysler Neon 2.0L at what temperature does the thermostat turns ON? I got the OBDII code P1281

P1281 Engine is cold too long

depends on what the temperature range you have , there a 170 and a 180. there is where .Check the radiator and make sure its filled. coolant leaks are common cause for this code to set, or just a failed thermostat. that is stuck open or the cooling fan that continuously runs
