What do I need to start with to get my Dodge Neon 2.0L to drive and idle right? What do I start with? I have the engine codes P0300, P0420, P0442, and P0455.

Hi there,

The first code, P0300 is the code that will make the car run rough. It's a code for multiple cylinder misfires. You need to address that first.

Second code is for the catalytic converter, P0420. It is possible this code is a result of the misfires, however if the converter is plugged up, it will cause the misfires as well. So take it down and look inside to make sure it's not all melted.

The second codes are related to the emission/evap system on the car and won't resullt in any driving problems.
