it there a special tool to replace the oil sending unit

the first time i had to get it replaced they said they had to pull the intake and the cost was 430.00. i have since heard that a special tool was availible .

Yes there is a special tool, that you would need to use to remove the oil sending unit, this tool is available at most all auto part store, they would have it where you purchase your parts
