Along with engine misfire code in #1 cylinder the enginge will only start on the second try.

When you start a engine a second try what you are doing is giving more fuel pressure to be built , Because of a misfire condition depending on the cause . Being the number 1 cylinder it is better you rule out mechanical condition .
