Could this be a bad transmission?

Is this just the sensor or can it be a bad transmission? Runs but really struggles to go.

This code can be either to be honest. If there is an internal issue with the transmission it will cause this code. I would drop the pan and look for any signs of internal damage. If none is found, then replace the sensor.
