Could this be a bad transmission?

Is this just the sensor or can it be a bad transmission? Runs but really struggles to go.

P0715 Input sped sensor "A"

The input speed sensor is the primary speed sensor, no signal, 2 thing that you can check , the primary speed sensor is fuse protected in the engine relay fuse box fuse listed as No. 58 which is a 10 amp fuse check it, replace if open, This code condition does not indicate a bad transmission overall.
