replace air fuel sensor 1 bank one, had a hole in front flex pipe that was replaced and engine light still coming on with same code.  there is a hole farther down in the exhaust but was told that wouldn't effect the light it shouldn't come back on.

Hi there

First, make sure you replaced the bank 1 sensor. This is the one closest to the firewall and it's a very common mistake. Then it's important to reset the fuel trims. If they aren't reset, the computer will throw the code because it's using and seeing the old fuel trims. The best method for this is a scan tool capable of doing it. However disconnecting the battery will work if it's disconnected for at least 5-6 hours. Then you have to do a relearn on the throttle body
