My 2005 nissan quest is showing a p1283 code. I replaced the sensor it suggested.(sensor 1 bank 2) Still has code. Any ideas?

Try to disconnect the battery for at least 20min it will reset the ECU and Clear Mixture Ratio Self-Learning Control Data.

you can also try to clean the air flow meter with mass air flow sensor cleaner.

possible causes:

- Faulty Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 Bank 2 
- Faulty Air fuel ratio (A/F) sensor 1 heater Bank 2 
- Fuel pressure
- Faulty Fuel injector 
- Intake air leaks
- Faulty Air Flow Meter
