P0740 is that the code that is set, when you test the solenoid and there was that click its good. At this year make and model it takes a ECM just to tell you there is a problem with the TCC system. because it is a solenoid it can burn its TCC driver in the ECM. So it has to be test electrically to see if the ECM is turning the TCC shift solenoid on. The TCC solenoid is shift solenoid "A" replacing that is fine there is also shift solenoid B if that does not turn on it will set a P0740.  Even though you replace the transmission with a transmission with just 45,000 mile on it the torque convertor may be faulty. at this year Honda had problem with the torque convertor until 2003. they even had to extend warranty for the torque convertor. if the torque convertor is to be replaced, the seal on the main shaft be careful one slight cut or pinch there set a P0740. By the way additive will not work.
