What is the most common fix for P0449 on my 2010 Kia Soul 2.0L? Best way to diagnose?

HI there

The most common issue is the canister closed valve itself. The test for this is pretty simple, remove the valve and add power and ground to the pins. It should click if it's working, if not usually you won't hear any sound from it.
