I am receiving a KAM code P0603 and P1781 on a 1996 Ford Ranger. Does anyone know what this code means?

Vehicle: 1996 Ford Ranger 4.0L V6 Automatic

P0603 KAM (keep alive memory)

Means the power to the keep alive was interrupted, These are seen when the negative battery terminal is not making proper connection either  due  the battery terminal post and this includes  the battery ground wires.
