Po638 code

Question

Hi I have just changed the gears on my 2008 M3 but I still keep getting a dsc fault followed by a flat tyre monitor fault when I check the the code it always says po638 .this code will clear itself after about 10 minutes and I can go 2 days sometimes before it appears again any help will appreciated.regards Dave

P0638 Throttle valve actuator

Changed gears? Then P0638 is plausible. whenever a TPMS light comes on, the throttle goes to limp mode. There are products where the TPMS is tricked where a resistor is in place of the TPMS sensor. to show the tire is inflated, as long as the TPMS comes on it goes to limp mode.
