NEED HELP 98 nissan pathfinder

Question

i have a 98 nissan pathfinder throwing a knock sensor code and and intake air tempature sensor code and i relocated the knock sensor and the code is still coming up and i cant seem locate where the iat sensor goes, my truck is currently not running the catts started glowing red so i cleaned them out to see if that was the problem and it still ran like crap replaced the plugs and when i dripe it it spits and sputters and starts back firing and and boggs down and shuts off but when its cod itll star back up and drive about a mile efor it shits out any help would be awsome!!! thanks in advance

Hi there

The IAT sensor is in the duct work in front of the air filter box, the spitting and sputtering sounds like a problem with the mass air flow sensor. The knock sensor won't turn the light on so once you replace the IAT sensor and clear the codes it likely won't be a problem.
