Would the remote start have anything to do with a misfire on cylinder 7?

Used my remote start today and check engine light came on with cylinder 7 misfire, could these be related?

This should not be related in any way. It's likely the truck needs a new set of plugs or possibly a new coil on cylinder #7. Try swapping the coil with the one next to it and see if the misfire moves. If it does, then you know the coil is the problem.
