is the PCM faulty after replacing exhaust cam position sensor

bought the sensor from the dealer and it does not work.rough idling and misfire codes.

No, the ECM replacement is not  the fix, what happens with this code is the valvetronic  adaptation. This needs a BMW factory level scan tool to check the calibration, and make the adjustment to check the idle quality improvement.
